I rather fancy this. Anyone done it? Good?

I've done this one. Quite fun. There are many options to finish the model. Few problems with the doors, they don't really fit. You'll need to make them a bit bigger. Find my threads on this forum, you'll see.

Good luck anyway.

Found it. Thanks. As the others say, it looks good.

Did you have to widen the doors or something, to fit?

I had to add some plastic on the bottom. You can leave it as it is, but then model will need both doors open.

You can see on the bottom, there is a gap, quite big. About 2mm on one side and just over 1mm on the other.

Just remembered other problem. All the chrome part are average and placed sometimes in stupid way on the spruce. I'd recommend to put them in bleach for a moment, and take the chrome finish off, then use Alclad lacquers to chrome them again. I was struggling to achieve shiny finish on body, and at some point decided not to put any more effort in this model, so I left chrome parts as they were, apart from front grill..

Anyways, a lot of work (in my case..) but at the moment, it's one of the best looking models on a shelf, probably because it's a brilliant looking car.

Regards,

Bart
