Thanks chaps. All good stuff.

I've added the two yellow deck stripes and I've also come up with the idea of adding some 'boot stains' around areas where there might have been a bit more human traffic than the rest of the wooden deck.
Using a slightly darker colour I dabbed around the deck with the 'Number 2' brush and then smudged the paint with my finger to blend it all in where I wanted the staining.

Hi Ron I’m about to attempt the same kit but in smaller scale but I have my trusty wee drill bit at the ready to start drilling my holes
