I've just finished this. It's my first model so the detail isn't very good. I went for an old & battered look instead of what it was meant to be. Some of the decals were awful to fit, you can see the red stripe didn't go on very well at all. I've left the base all gold for now as there's no way I'd be able to accurately paint the letters in. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out and it looks good from a distance, but the detail is quite bad.

Looks okay to me, I like the battered effect. Well done mate, like this. One good thing about this is that you can always go back and redo sections with washes etc if you want to.

Si:)

Fantastic maybe the base colour is a little dark but that does not detract from the beauty of the detail and the battle scared effect you've produced , I'd be proud of that ! Lovely produced work on such a small build.

Lovely job. My first ever model wasn't even painted! It was an Airfix ship, I think the Suffolk, and I was so chuffed that the turrets turned. I must have been around seven or eight at the time.

You have done a really good job there and if this is your first one I'm sure they are going to get better and better as time goes by.

thats ace mate. only addition id do now is give a really quick blast on the airbrush with a thinned skull white. awesome build mate

I'm no scifi fan as such, but this is top stuff, nicely weathered and it looks battered as you have set out to achieve. Great work.
