discussion Rigging for Swordfish. Size of components

Although I have photo etched wing braces or rigging for the Tamiya 1/48 I am currently building before resorting to the photo etched I thought I would investigate using rod in place. The photo etched are in reality flat slats.

Does any body have an idea how thick in the real (ie not 1/48 scale) the metal bracing is ?

If anybody visits an aircraft museum with a Swordfish I would be grateful if they could measure the rigging & even better also photo the detail. Being in Jersey it is rare for a visit to the mainland.
