Roger the B1 Battle Droid and his trusty battered STAP from the Star Wars Universe



Roger stands just over 300mm high.....theres a pic with a tamiya bottle in for scale

didnt go together as planned, had lots of little problems along the way, still not happy with Roger

so big i had problems taking pics!

i guess you havnt read the wip thread then lol

he is supposed to ride it but this is a notorious kit, every build up thread ive read they have said he is a total b%£*^&% to attach to the STAP cos he is so articulated.........so i had to think of a solution to get round it

Great work Paul,
a good build and paint job ( not my own best thing ) I like to see other peoples work it gives me inspiration, I have thought about building a large scale droid and now I want to do that even more. I wish some company would build a stap they would be great to rid on

Paul, is this the 1/6 scale version? I have the stap and base unused if any use to you?
I did the shutdown and abandoned version (see pics, photobucket logo on but they are my pics and model) and I know what you mean about it not been great, mine was the same.

Cracking work by the way, love the colours and the weathering.
