discussion Ruined Decals :(

Just sprayed a gloss coat onto my LA5 and they have immediatley crinkled up and look absolutley rubbish it's ruined the entire model

I've used the humbrol gloss coat loads of times before on all types of model decals and never had this happen, they were dry having been applied last night, anyone shed some light on this for me please whilst I carefully rub down the frame work.

Is it an old kit where the decals may have deteriorated some how, or some dodgy import version? One thing for sure, there's always something new waiting to catch us out. Patience and perseverance are a modeller's number one requirement.

Just had something similar happen to me, Adrian. I think it's called the Joys Of Model Making !!! The never-ending learning process.....
