After the AMX, I thought I would try and finish the Pacific Coast Hurricane from under my bench but found I was still fighting and had wasted enough of my life on it, so I thought I would start this one, a nice simple build!! Trumpeter had other ideas,

I found two prominent seam lines on the lower hull which took some work to shift

and even better the hull halves are different lengths!

anyway I have shimmed it to take the worst out of it and will now look forward to more filling and rub

Yeah they seem to have gone to sleep on this one, still a nice big lump though, just realised this should be in the submarine section.

You are right there Ian, on the lower side there panels that I will have to re scribe as they pass over a joint.

Wow Steve you would think that big of an error would've been corrected before the kit was released! I'm sure you'll whip it nto shape all the same.
