discussion Secret Army - back on TV ...

Hi all

I've noticed that the 1970's series "Secret Army' is being repeated, again, starting tomorrow evening at 11.00pm on Talking Pictures TV (306 on Freesat).

for those who don't remember it, the series is about a group of Belgiums who operate and escape line, helping Allied airmen return to the UK - it was the series which was the inspiration for "Allo "Allo.

a great series, well worth watching.

I caught most of the recent showing of Secret Army followed by the Kessler series, both entertaining, but preferred Secret Army so I am looking forward to seeing all of the early episodes of Secret Army.

Brilliant series. Really showed the bravery of those who operated the escape routes. Definitely worth watching.

YEA Peter i'll be watchinas i remeber it well as i really liked the haunting music at the end very sort of doomey an i watched it first time around as thats when we had some good tv programes an not repeats
