Hi have just been given a AS186 compressed for christmas, but on reading about on the web there area people that appear to be able to set there regulaters to 15 - 20 psi and bellow but on mine the air stops at ~18/19 and stops, no matter how much i turn the regulated down.

Instructions? Google? Dictionary? Faulty?

I've the same COMPRESSOR and although the REGULATOR can be a little stiff to turn, I can set the PRESSURE to as low as 5psi quite easily.

I'd suggest exchanging it.

I found that at first it took a lot of turning to get the psi to change. Mine also only displays the change of pressure when the air is running.

Perhaps get in touch with who you got it from.
