Just a note to say what a glorious day it has been today here in the UK,the birds were singing and it was blue skies so out came the little electric Tiger Moth for its first flight of the season,popped in a new Nickel metal hydride and switched it on,nothing !! how is it that you lay up a perfectly good model and bring it out like this and it will not work ? anyway to cut a long story short I removed the small electric motor and eventually it sort of started running,but not well enough to fly,fortunately I ripped a spare from another dismantled model and fitted that,plugged it in and it purred into life,so down the cabbage patch for a spot of flying and got down to a 18 minute flight with the new not yet run in battery pack,simply great as she sailed into the blue ad I really enjoyed the flying after the winter lull,had another flight this evening in dead still conditions and watched the mist rolling over the field,who else managed to get airborne today ? :terrific:
