Hi guys.
I have been wanting to do a heavy duty 'in the style of' Star-Trek tricorder that can be slung. So here it is, with flashing LED's all working off a PP3 9 V battery. There are some decals to add but this is finished. It is a bit of homage to the film version and the original tricorder I added the Original Series screen.
Also I needed a more robust phaser for the TWOK outfit. I have a collectors one but it is just too delicate to be bashed about, so the more chunky STTMP one was stripped, remoulded the butt of the handle, added a trigger button, made the laser bit red and re-painted it. The pictures show it against The Motion Picture version.
