discussion Storing paints in warm (ha!) weather

Hello all - I've managed to quietly expand my modelling operations to the conservatory and wondered whether anyone had any thoughts on how best to store (mainly Tamiya acrylic) paints? When the weather's nice (ha!) it gets pretty warm (over 30 degrees, honest) in there and while the pots are closed tight and out of direct sunlight (ha!) I wondered whether there's a limit to how you ought to store them?

I guess I could move them to a cooler part of the house but that would require effort - hard life isn't it ;-)

Any thoughts? Will they be fine "long term" or should I move them? Cheers!

What about a well insulated cool box Rob ?

I would have thought at 30 degrees the paint is dry before it reaches the plastic. The plastic model is going to be that temperature as well not ideal.

Hi Laurie - cheers, to be honest I do my spraying in the man cave/garage which will be significantly cooler, so it was more about the storage rather than actually painting...

I don't think I'd be popular with a fine paint mist in the conservatory!!
