Another great looking finish Jim. What makes this an economy model? I know nothing about armour...

Great work Jim I really like the stowage and tarp. Great weathering also.

I had a sneak preview of this halftrack before and I must say you've been a busy boy Jim! :)
Yet again superbly kitted out!!!

Thanks Joe, economy was on the Germans minds when making this one.
They dispensed with rubber capped tracks, spring loaded seats, enclosed cabs, etc... (except in armored cab versions) and used many parts on hand and still on the lathes from various other vehicles.
It was a very successful design though and was sturdy, reliable and popular, but as was much in those times for the German army in too short supply.

Thanks Jens, a not well known vehicle to most,
I just love the look of it, and all German war time halftracks even the cobbled and awkward Maultiers hold a special place in history.

Amazing work, as ever Jim! It's your tarps, netting and other ancilliary features (that most folks would spend good money on, for aftermarket stuff) that make your work so special, that, and the amazing depth of colour and texture.
