Hi all this is a model of a mustang that was flown by Freddie .F .Ohr 2nd fs 52 fighter group

The model was primed with tamiya grey then given a coat of tamiya as 12 then I picked out a few panels in x11 the guns are made from three sizes of Albion alloys micro tube brass I added sway braces from pe scrap and oleo leg scissors from the same didn't do any weathering apart from exhaust stains as I wanted a clean new look hindsight I wish I had decals are from a company I think is called ministry of small aircraft production Al paints are tamiya acrylic

Please leave comments pos or neg as it's all a learning curve

All the best Roger

Amazing job. Great metal finish (undercarriage brilliant for this especially) and nice subtle exhaust effect.

Fantastic finish, really good job of the NMF and like the yellow tail.

I still have my 1/32 in tamiya in my. Stash and hope 1 day to do as good a job as you have achieved here. Love the subtle detail s x looks good with flaps and the undercarriage nice and clean. Awesome build

I also have the mustang in 32 scale it's going to be a nice build when I have practised my weathering skills I'll give it a go thanks you guys for your pos comments

Wanted to add a post note to my last post

I've seen many of P51 in film and at shows museums etc and all I can say is what ever angle you look at them they are a sheer pleasure to look at as ever line is just perfect. A Cadillac of the sky's she may be but she's a true gal when she sits in the Tarmac.

Awesome

Great build, a P51 has definitely got to go in my stash at some point how does this kit build?

I heard most Tamiyas are pretty decent and go together fairly easy.
