I got this for Christmas and have decided to have a crack at it there seems to be lots of parts for a simple looking tank. I'm going to look for colour schemes but I guess it's fairly limited, fingers crossed I can do it justice being as I'm from Lincoln and helped research a book on the WW1 presentation tanks, no pressure!.

I have seen a couple of builds of this kit. If something doesn't seem to fit right, double check as, by all accounts, it is a superb kit. Not sure about the motor in it though. Still, the gears and drive appear to be extremely well made.

I've just started this kit myself whilst the motor isn't everybody's cup of tea and don't really see the point of it


It was nice to do something a bit different I might have a go at a dio for it and try and incorporate the soldiers

I think I will motorise it it'll be fun, and one of my first model memories is playing with a tiger tank that my dad had built it had a remote control attached I spent hours in the garden with it. Also it still looks good so why not?

Why not motorize in a dio ............ Plenty of mud to hide the lower tracks and mount the hull on some spacers to raise it just clear....... Have the tracks running. Wouldn't need to be fast as these things did walking pace at best.

I like the WW1 stuff, pity so much detail won't be seen but that's just how it is. I built the Emhar kit and put in my "Eye Deep in Hell" dio.

And i two remember the same thing my dad had a large radio controlled tiger (wire attached) looking good so far looking forward to seeing more

The side sponsors are done and on they don't glue on they use a rubber grommet system to attach them leaving them removable for access to the innards the top deck attaches the same way. Tracks went together very easily which was a nice surprise.
