Recently I received a kit from Pinhead!! ( Peter ) bought through Wanted/For sale thread.
Now I have never really made a car before let alone a racing car, but I have a few questions that I hope you all out there can give me advice on:- IVe only built Aircraft and tanks before and possibly the odd armoured car and half track.
I see that some car creations on here are astounding and look the right dogs biscuits!! But I don't want mine to look like a toy! I have in my head an idea of the Toyota Toms coming in from a laomsay to the pit stop, and seeing as the Japanese raced this car mainly in Japan. I am also thinking seeing as this car was a 24hr race car I'm thinking seeing as it's Japan a wet scene ie terential rain coming down.
What is the best idea for a pit area
What is the best material to replicate Tarmac
How do you acheive a kit not to look like a toy car
How do you recreate rain spray say from the tyres
Or am I thinking too far into cuckoo land
A picture of the toms 84c for you all to see but the kit is stil in the box.
