Tamiya TS-80 Flat Varnish Aerosol - A word of caution

Last week I was in Modelzone, looking for my usual Humbrol Acrylic Flat Varnish aerosol, which they did not have, I asked the assistant, who suggested the Tamiya TS-80, which I bought. Yesterday when I was unwrapping it, my eye caught the small print in the lid which says 'DO NOT SPRAY ON DECALS OR STICKERS' - a fat lot of good. I overcame my problem by spraying the model first with Humbrol Acrylic Satin Gloss, before using the above product.

Must say that the Tamiya did give a very good matt finish.
