This one is the fighter/mark 8 (F.Mk. 8). The kit I got was the F.Mk.1. I bet the engines sound about the same though. I try to imagine what it must have sounded like back in 1944, hearing them start up for the first time after a life-time of piston powered props...
 
HK Models are doing a 32 scale model of the Meteor.... This one I will definitely get to sit alongside my Me262...
