I need to vent!


Last Friday I posted a parcel containing a model that I'd sold on eBay. I popped home at lunchtime today and found said parcel sitting on my doorstep! 


Upon checking the Post Office website, it says that the parcel was delivered... to me! Unbelievably they have mixed up the addressee details with my return address! 


Worst still, the postie has faked a signature!


I find it hard to believe that these people could be so brainless as to collect this parcel from the Post Office 300 yards from my address, take it to the sorting office 1/2 a mile away & then deliver it back to me!


Now I've got to pay the postage again to get it to the buyer & apologise to him for someone else's mistake!

Disgraceful Patrick, you need to complain-it may not do any good but you have to rant at them, faking a signature is a sackable offence.

I've already put the complaint in motion Si! And I'll be claiming compensation because I've now paid 2 lots of postage charges & had to refund the postage to the buyer.


The sorting office is only 20 minutes walk so I'd have gone down there, but they shut at midday!
