Hello

I've been unable to do any modelling for about five months due to pressures of work. Thankfully these have now subsided somewhat so I can return.

I have, whenever passing a charity shop, popped in to see if there any kits going and there never have been. Today when walking past a new house clearance shop I saw the kit (shown) in the window. It has 1991 on the back and was sold as a Humbrol kit.

So now I don't know what to do:

Being an old kit will it be of poor quality?

Should I buy iy and sell it on ebay (is it worth more than £10, although I can probbaly haggle)

Should I leave it in the window.

Any guidance would be graetefuly received.

Many thanks

Just buy it Aidan,

there's three cars inside to make up, from what i remember on seeing this for sale at a flea-market (over 5 years ago) the models seem quite decent.

The guy had two of them and they went like hotcakes at £25 each ... people wanted them for their slot-car hobby as the shells are 1:32 just like Scalextric

I already have the top two of these and the quality is very "average " but with some love and extra work could be made into something decent my triumph turned out ok but I learned a lot from it so not a total waste my advice put the £10 towards a better kit but if you want something to practice on these are ideal and for me £10 a bargain plus it's going to charity so everyone's a winner

Go for it Aidan.

Actually owned a green Escort as your model. A bit tinny but a very comfortable car.

Go on go on go on go on.

You have the power Aidan.

Laurie

Herald was a nice car as well. The whole of the bonnet & wings swung open.

Thanks Laurie!

Hmmmm!

By the way, every so often I get SPAM from the Jersey Tourist Information people. Might you have a word with them please?

Thanks
