I find some comparisons here a bit odd but that is true of other such sites but, overall, this looks like one of the better. No Model Air equivalences though but they can be worked out.

Nice bit of info Barry.

Strange, as Vallejo Model Air is so popular, that no equivalents are given yet Vallejo Model is. Using this and Vallejo comparison I would think you would get most.

Some other useful info. there as well.

Nice table, thanks Barry. I have been scratching my head about RLM 72 and 73 for seaplanes. RLM 72 seems rather elusive!

A good match for RLM72 is Vallejo Model Colour 866 - it is FS36081. It is what I used earlier this year for my Arado. It sprayed well with 50% Vallejo thinners and a 0.2 needle at around 20psi.

Vallejo Model Air 16 is good for RLM73 as well as what is in the chart.

Thanks Barry. I have the Revell 1/72 AR196, but waiting to find the right paints.
