Not sure about a local supplier for you but they are widely available online if that is any good.

It's a bit of a journey but Modelzone carry them-there's one in Sutton or if you come into London, Holborn.

Modelzone in Sutton is my local model shop and they only sell revell or tamiya paints unfortunately.

I get my vallejo paints online.

Really, I thought a big chain would carry them-the one I go to in Holborn has Tamiya, Revell (yuk!) & Vallejo. Sorry beef for giving poor information!

Hi Patrick , I wish the sutton store did sell vallejo paint but its a very small shop with little choice for model kits also ,

That's a pain-I guess I'm lucky for having a big one on my doorstep (oo-er missus!). You'll have to save your money up & visit the big city!

There was a model shop in central London I went to years ago that had them But for the life of me I cant remember what it was called. Any ideas. Maybe I should further my search to the whole of London.

I have seen them online but would rather buy in shop so I can see the whole range and compare them.

The one I go to is Modelzone in Holborn, you come out of the tube station, cross the road opposite to Sainsburys & then it's about 50 yards down the road on the left. Patrick

Hi Beef , the modelzone in Bromley is quite big but out of your way , If you really need to go to a model shop I would take Patricks advice and take a trip up to Holborn , being in Wimbledon you`ve only got to jump on the tube and bobs your auntie ,

Being a lazy so & so I would rather buy online ( I HATE GOING SHOPPING ) myself

1hr round trip , job done Beef.

Merry Christmas

Thanks for the advice guys

@Ricky C does the model zone in Bromley sell vallejo paints. If it does I would not mind driving down there as Its easier to get to from work.

To be honest Beef I have not been there for quite a few years but I know its alot bigger than the Sutton branch , give them a ring - its in the Glades shopping centre tel:- 0208 3131735

Hope this helps

Can anybody tell me the difference between their model color and game color range?

Thread owner
There's no difference, just the names are changed to suit either military modellers or GW modellers. If a game colour paint works for your model, use it! Patrick

I know it's an old Thread. But I do a lot of modelling and use Vallejo paints. before the demise of Model Zone I found a shop right on my doorstep that sold paints and models plus much much more.

anyway they sell Vallejo Model Colour Paints ant the odd Panzer ace packs and Model Air sets with some mig weathering sets.

They are at Waterloo just a few stops on the over-ground
