Hi folks.

I'm building the Zvezda Medieval Bombard which is a small, ready-made dio on a plastic base. I want to extend the base by fixing the existing plastic one to a piece of MDF. As I'll have to seal the MDF with PVA, I was wondering if I could use it to fix the plastic base at the same time - or should I use a different glue?

I do just that, seal the base then when nearly dry just pop a reasonably thick bead of PVA down and bed the base into it ... Not worth overcomplicating matters mate.
