discussion White decals

Hello.

Last week i was told you can't make "white" water slide decals lettering.

You can make stick-on white decals; but you have to cut them out.

My reason for asking is that i want white decals for the heli below in 1/48 scale.

I know they sell white decal paper but I think the reasoning is that most printers do not print white. Only the mega expensive color laser\printing press style graphic houses can do this. I know that there are companies that produce your custom decal requests but not sure the expense. Some also have mentioned dry transfers too.

Well i got some.

But the letters are sticky back white paper with black outline, so i have to cut em all out with a knife.

But thats what it's all about!.
