UK television presenter Tony Hart dies aged 83. Do you, from the UK remember him? I'm currently battling a really bad stomach flu, glued to my bed and trying to keep my mind occupied. Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Yes I do remember Tony Hart having grown up with his early series 'Vision On' followed by the later programmes that he did. This was also the first time we saw our little plasticine friend 'Morph' (Invented by Tony Hart and brought to life by the creators of Wallace and Gromit) as he used to appear in the shows in little sketches too.

He will be missed by many.

Have a look at this link and it may just help you out a bit more:

I agree he will be really missed also I'm sure he did the first programmes to include the Deaf by introducing 'Signing' to the show

Hope Morph lives on forever as its not a bad thing to be remembered for

yep R.I.P. Tony Hart

Morph (& his playmate Chas) will live on as he is a star in his own right now - even with his own show. Another of Tony's designs also continues to live on too - The Blue Peter badge.

Tony won't be forgotten.

Regards......Mark.

A wonderful TV personality who inspired many budding artists with his hands on approach to art, really sorry to hear this sad news he was a very well liked person who had a great many skills.

I will treasure his books that he produced during his lifetime.
