i just thought i would add this when i paint 1/24 and 1/12 scale cars i firstly paint entire body mr surfacer 1500 black, then mask of the window surrounds using a sharp scalpel to trim off the masking tape , then paint desired colour then top coat once masking tape removed hey presto perfect window surrounds can be done in reverse for chrome surrounds too
