Konstantin Krevenko, director of Zvezda models, has died yesterday, at the age of 52.

Zvezda has been the top producer of scale models in Russia for some time now and has done a tremendous amount for the industry there. They produced a lot of good scale models at affordable prices. He also organized many charity programs for children.

Rest in peace Mr. Krevenko.

Zvezda is pretty much a household name in model kits now.

I remember many years ago their small kits-cheap and snubbed by some modellers were snapped up for war-gaming. I have seen a few now and they look okay.

thats the thing i like with Zvezda, kits there good and at affordable price ,

he will be missed, and just hope that someone good takes over the rains,

i do have a few kits in 1.72 and 1.35 in my stash,

I have to say I do like zvesda kits lets hope Mr Krevenko's replacement further improves the brand.
