Well you know what our Tony's like Colin. He's a careful, skilled builder and I'm sure he'll be able to sort this out. My thoughts are with him during this difficult time.

Quite right Dave. Please excuse my flippant post. Tony will certainly need our support through this, most trying of builds. Even though I think he will have more sprue than actual parts - - - - - - doh, there I go again.........

The assembly of the airframe is done and its got its first paint on. This is a beige gloss because i thought it would be easier to cut a mask of the patterns and stick them on rather than try to mask the outlines . Once ive done that then it can be sprayed all over red . Cheers tony

I knew you were a careful builder Tony, and the way you've worked through the sheer number of parts in this kit to get such a good result is clear evidence I was right!

Well i managed to make masks for this by sticking some tamiya tape to the shiny paper thats left when you use a sticky address label. Cut out your shape and then it peels off without losing any tack , i doubled it over too so i got left and right sided masks that are identical in shape and size.

Next is decals then another coat of klear and final assembly ( sticking on the skid!!) then its done

                  Heres some pics
