Revell 1/48 Northrop F-5F "AGGRESSOR"

Hi folks I acquired this kit yesterday from under one of the tables at Stoke-On Trent model show. Decent little kit for £12 but comes with raised panel lines and two sets of marking options. I might rescribe and sand the raised panel lines or might leave them as they are undecided at the moment. Thanks for looking in and any comments/advice/ help that you leave cheers John. More later........................o_O

For some reason I've always thought this is a beautiful aircraft, ever since I made the Matchbox one as a kid So I'm interested in watching you build this one John.

Looking at the sprues, I like how the upper fuselage & wings are one piece. That saves faffing with filling & sanding

Hi folks just blew the dust of this after eventually finishing my mustang. Went with the rescribe and sanding option. Of to spray all the interior panels and dials etc. Pics to follow. Cheers John

Bit of a leap forward on this one. Now under primer (AK) it went together very well with some minor filling and sanding along the way. Not a bad kit at all for £12 back in 2017 Click image for larger version

‘ bit of a leap forward ‘ slight understatement john! Doc Brown would have been proud of that leap into the future! Anyways its great to see the tiger back in motion once more , i know some people like to leave the primer for a while to fully cure , so i think you should be safe :smiling5:

Thanks Tony feels good to be back. There's been a lot going on with the house move and family dramas. Back in the cave now with plastic glue and paint. What more could one ask for! Cheers John

Plodding and chipping away happily in my shed on this fine sunny day. Managed to get the rockets painted up and starting on the 3 tone camo scheme for the aggressor.Click image for larger version

Hi everyone paints down and now under gloss. Today I had my very first attempt at heat staining and reasonably happy with my efforts. I’ll definitely be trying it again on my next jet build as I can only get better with practice. Thanks for looking in and any comments left.
Cheers John
