Thanks Steve. The MSG is drying at the moment, but I'll have to repaint the undercarriage doors and bays when the masking comes off the stripes.:disappointed2:
Couldn't wait, so un-masked just now!

Quite a few touch-ups needed, especially on the port wing, and the aerial mast didn't survive, but not too bad for an amateur!
Yet more masking for the yellow leading edge strip, and while the yellow was in the airbrush a bit where the fuselage roundels will go, the reduce the chance of the white/black stripes showing through. Also did the prop tips. Most of it went alright:

but on the port wing the tape (Tamiya for curves) lifted the paint:

I should have made a better job of sanding that leading edge too.
Touch ups done, and she has legs!
At least I thought the touch-ups were done until I looked at that photo! I've repainted the undercarriage bays in the correct undersurface colour. Still a few little PE sticky-out bits left to add, but I think I'll leave those until after decalling or they'll only get knocked off.
So, next step is a clear coat, then decals...
On to decals - 'undreds of stencils it seems! One wing finished, the other started - 26 decals already!

Shows up my terrible paintwork, and I hadn't noticed that wrinkle...
My eyes need a rest now though.
