Added the decals this afternoon. The decals aren’t that good this time I had a lot of problems with them breaking up and cracking I did what I could with them sorry the tail number literally disintegrated when I tried to fix it so I don’t know when I’m on do there
don’t know about the tail number may have to do without
Pretty much any from a WWII USAAF aircraft would do, I’d think — any spare from another aircraft kit, for example. You may want to use some with a 4 or 5 if you have them, but that really only matters if you expect people who actually know what they stand for will begin picking nits (And care about that, of course.)
Thanks Jakko
I started to put another set I had that came with the decals that were red and one made the other didn’t. I would rather leave it off if I put a different one on look out I’ll get slammed.
Thanks John I use flat black primer for a lot of builds makes a nice shade effect sometimes hopefully I’ll have an update for you in the morning thanks for stopping by and the compliment

If that’s your worry then you’ll be damned if you do and damned if you don’t: there should be a registration number on the tail, so leaving it off will get you slammed by people who insist it should be there, and if you put on the “wrong” one for a specific plane you’re modelling, then you’ll get slammed by those who spot it’s not the correct number. To be honest, the chances of the former are bigger than the latter, if you ask me

Thanks Jakko
The only ones left are the blue ones guess I’ll take a chance
Hi Lee
It's a nice looking plane. Shame about the decals. Were they just poor or was it old age? The decals in old kits are often unuseable.

They were aftermarket ones never had any problems with them in the past sometimes you just get a bad Bach due to the age of the paper it was printed on. Most of the time the printer of the decals has no idea how old the paper was when they buy it that’s the gamble you take
