How can you run out of black?
Error error!

oh ive got metallic black......gloss black......tar black.....anthracite black.......grey black......greeny black......nato black.................but no matt black!! lol

Nato black should be fine paul , the invasion stripes were a temporary finish anyway so probably the paint would have worn / faded pretty quickly. The off black of Nato black should be bang on.

Y'know, you see photos of 'planes with 'invasion stripes, and they're different widths, wavy edged, not straight...
But we modellers always carefully mask them to be exact as prescribed
Of course, it depends on the squadron/theatre. Were the Banff strike wing particularly conscientious?

unfortunatly its Meng paint and i think its way too light

So, you'd be completely justified in hand painting them - 'it's SUPPOSED to look scrappy!’
I like the way the edges of the codes and roundel in your spit pic are roughed up too
