Looking great. I love the way extra detail lifts a build…

Thanks Tim, first go with this colour etch and only because it has a large canopy, would have gone for seat belts as well but I would need a dremmel to sand off the old ones and I've not got one, another thing on the to buy list!

Builds onto a big model. That PE looks a nice set but as with all PE you tend to pick and choose what is worth using. Cockpit is looking great. I rarely use CA for PE first off. I used Gator Hobby Glue (almot impossible to find now) but that white PVA works ok. Give wiggle time and cleans up with a damp brush. If I am worried about the fix being secure I wick a drop of thin CA into the join when the PVA has dried. Looking forward to the rest.

              Excuse me Mark .
That's a great tip Jim. I've got one of those bottles of Gator Glue, thanks to you, but never thought about wicking some CA .

I totally understand and agree with missing a couple out. No one will hear of this omission from me. Mum's the word.

Looks fantastic to me. Nothing wrong with those seatbelts either! Might be telling you to suck eggs, but if you get a kit with duff or poorly moulded belts you can get aftermarket seats.

Cheers Tim, they look OK and the fact it was a cheap kit at a penny under 20 quid I would like to keep it that way really.

The cockpit is excellent. Nice realistic wear and tear.
