Hawker Hart 1/72 - Tintin decals

Picked up this little Hawker Hart. Will be doing it in the style of the plane from Tintin’s adventure, Cigars of the Pharaos.Click image for larger version

I never was a Tintin fan, but I like the idea of building a model based on the comic

Think i’m going to make all four; there’s a 109 and a Tiger Moth too.

I think i’m going to stop at the four. But they should come together quickly as they’re all mainly single colour. i just need a set of Thompson Twins in 1:72 for the Tiger Moth :-)

Yep, I’ve had a look and can’t find any 20mm figures of Thomson and Thompson……probably a copyright thing! Can’t find civilians with bowler hats either, so a head swap looks out. Not given up yet though, I’ll try again later.

Thanks Gents! Some progress pics. Any tips on rigging? There is none with the kit so will have to be scratch. Click image for larger version

Never rigged a 1/72 plane so can’t help, sorry…..there are a couple of guys on here that have though, so hopefully they chip in….
Paint looks great though. Nice underpainting to give the top coat interest.

I cannot find ez line in the U.K. but found some aero rigging. Just waiting for some superglue advancer. In the mean time she is looking nice I think. Click image for larger version
