Very realistically weathered interior and engines Russell. Checked out all the pictures and enlarged them just to view the detailing. Awe struck and speechless. Good its 1/48 with room for detailing, wonder what it would have been in 1/24?...fly I suppose. :smiling2:

Many have asked why my Mosquito roundels on the wing weren't the usual red on blue. Yours is similar to what I have with the white in between the two colors. Not seen it except on post war aircraft. Is there an explanation for it?

I’m not sure either Richard. I had understood this scheme wasn’t used on upper surfaces but I wonder if it is in this case because there are no under wing markings (space covered by rocket mountings) and the dark upper surface colour used over dark sea operations meant having white in the roundel made it more visible. Just guessing though.Comment
