The fact remains, they were both big ugly heavy and unwieldy brutes, hence the reason no-ones ever seriously considered an inline six since, (until the very recent concept by BMW which in all fairness they have much more experience of building and theres, thanks to current engineering is only fractionally wider than a jap four) and saying that i'm a Kawasaki fan.

Back on topic, that's a lovely looking Lanc and I really like the posters

Fabulous work - so envious of your skills (and the skills of others in here) - it's what I aspire to!

Scale black applied (50/50 mix of flat black and red-brown), with slightly paler shading, and paint chips done with a silver pencil. And, my first attempt with Montex Masks!

Cripes you're going at a fair lick! Looking very nice and a good job on the underside colour, always tricky doing "black". Are you going to fix the wings? I remember someone (maybe Ian Lanc) saying they fit so well on this kit that you could leave them removable.

            Cheers

Cheers Steve; I've dry-fitted the wings, and may well leave them 'dry' as it'll make it easy to dismantle it if I need to.

Today's progress. Roundels sprayed with Montex Masks; difficult getting the colours right, but I think these will be ok. Exhaust trails done with Tamiya 'Smoke' with a blob of Flat Base added for the last couple of passes:

OK, I admit it - I messed up the Montex Masks, so I resprayed and put the decals on! Better luck next time...

Here she is as of this evening - Klear coats for the decals:

And today, at last, she's finished. And a sizeable beast she is too!
