    Airfix Chippie

This is an older build of the Airfix 1/72 DHC Chipmunk in the hi-vis dayglo/grey scheme. Custom decals and a few added details here and there. I'd love to see Airfix re-tool the Chippie.

I saw the title and wondered why you would want to make a plastic model of a chip shop!

That is awesome Mike. Such a basic kit and you've made it look like it is a new tool model. Have never been keen on those dayglo strips or indeed that colour. They looked terrible when they faded. But you won't have that issue on your lovely model Chipmunk. Great build.

                          Hi Mike

I can't be certain but I think this little model may have been the first kit I ever attempted. What is for certain is that it didn't look like that when I'd finished it! That is beautiful. You continue to show how older and smaller kits can be made into show stoppers. Truly impressive work.
