Kotare 1/32 Spitfire Mk 1a (mid)

Well guys, Its certainly been a while. but I've finally managed to finish the Kotare Spitfire I started way back in January of this year,

There's nothing much to add to the other reviews and impressions of this kit other than a bit of care and attention to detail when building this will produce something that certainly looks 'spot on'.

Mine has been finished as P9495 a No. 610 Squadron aircraft at the beginning of June 1940. and as such had just had the undersides fully repainted to 'sky'.

Paints were Tamiya's own colours..(both Laquers and Acrylics), and Model colour paints,
The base is just foam board, with a smear of filler for texture and 4mm scatter grass with high and low lights done with various random green/ brown paints.
The figure was a Temu purchase and fits quite well with the whole build ..(although the wearing of his parachute is at best questionable, as apparently pilots were strapped into thte harness after climbing into the cockpit, but as far as I'm concerned he's just returned and needs a pee..urgently).

I really wanted to add a 1/32 scale dog, cause what's an aircraft dio without a dog ? however they are soo expensive for a single item... (if anybody fancies 3d printing me one then hit me up and I'll gladly pay your costs..)

Anyhoo... here you go, apologies for the shed load of photos.
