Evening Gents, well this is my first bi-plane and my first experience of rigging.
This is a re-boxing of an ICM kit which isn't a bad thing as the detail is good. The hard part is the construction all goes well until you come to attaching the upper wing to the lower wing the middle stays don't reach the fuselage. Considerable pressure is required to hold all in place with plenty of superglue. Rigging was a challenge I used Albion Alloys 0.4mm brass rods this worked but took me two days to complete very fiddly requiring lots of patients. Decals preformed well considering the size of the US ARMY decal with lots of carrier film with no silvering at all!!
I wouldn't say this has put me off building bi-planes as I have two more ICM kits in my stash. But they won't be my next builds.
