When I had to do a 1/24 P-51 spinner for "Jersey Jerk," which has a series of red and blue circles, after spraying the red, I coated the whole thing in Micromask, which always seems thinner, and easier to work, than Maskol. I then found sheet balsa wood, to the required thickness, laid a brand-new 25A blade flat on it, pushed the spinner up to it, and rotated it against the point. Another thickness of wood, another rotation, and so on; I then peeled off alternate strips, and sprayed the whole lot blue. When I peeled off the other strips, it had worked like a charm.
