    P-400 "Airacobra" - Eduard 1/48

    Hi mates!!!

News from the Black Forest in Germany. Here comes my new P-400 "Aircobra" from Eduard in 1/48 scale. It's a great kit with a good fit and nice details. I built it out of box only the cannon in the nose was made from a cannula. The antenna wire is made of stretchy yarn ("Rig that thing" from "Uschi van der Rosten").

Colours from Gunze, Revell, Humbrol and Vallejo.
The display is a psp-plate from Eduard, framed by glazed wood panels. The figures are from Tamiya and ICM. Bird sand and bushes from the model railroad accessories.

My model shows a P-400 of the 67th Fighter Squadron, 347th Fighter Group, Henderson Field, Guadalcanal 1942.

    Cheers
    Stefan

PS: Are you already in the mood for Telford in November ??? 9_9
