Airfix 1\48 Hawk central flying school RAF valley 1979 (sort of).

Built using a Airfix 1\48 Hawk it predicts an earlier machine and using extra decals so it may not be entirely accurate but I am pleased with the result.
And unusually for me I have done both pilots.

Very nice Peter.

Living pretty close to Snowdonia, which is a lick and a spit from RAF Valley, my wife and I go a'wandering there on a regular basis, and always get frightened to death by these jets (and other types) sneaking up on you from behind.

Sometimes we are looking down on the bl***y things
Mondays are their favourite play days!

Top Build.

Great looking Hawk Peter, nice sharp painting and a cool colourful lively.:smiling::thumb2:
Think I'll need to get me one of those too to build something else beside the Red Arrows variant....
