That is a little stunner of a build. I could not come close if I had a month to build and another to paint it in!

I love the way that you have painted the wings. The small detail of the "light shinning through" and being able to see the serial codes on the top surface from below. Any chance of a hint of how you did that!?

Thanks Ian! I did it with some home-made decals, printed out on a colour laser-printer. Once applied I sprayed the doped linen colour to fade them right back. These pics should help explain, and I used a similar approach for the ribs on the upper sides. I guess I could have masked and painted all this– but not in 24 hours. (Excuse the watch in the photos, it was part of the requirement of the online build to document progress in real time).
