A brace of Zvezda 1/144 Polikarpov i- 16s , Finnish and Spanish completed

Heres the two polikarpovi-16s ive been working on , a conversion to a typ 5 of the Republican air arm from the Spanish civil war and a captured i-16 used by the Ilmavoimat ( Finnish air force )in 1943 against the Russians in the continuation war .
Both are the excellent Zvezda snap fit 1/144 , with decals courtesy of print scale and scratchbuilt additions .I also included the Romanian i-16 I did a while back in the photos .thanks for looking , cheers tonyClick image for larger version

Those are very neat looking.....I particularly like the struts you installed on the skis for stabilization...pure genius, that is. Rick H.

          Hi Tony
Those are great. I scrolled through the photos and came to the one with all three on your hand and WOW! - those are tiny. Fine skills to scratch parts like the skiis at this scale.

That’s a very colourful little trio. Excellent work, especially at such a small scale. Are there any more 144s in the offing?

                  Beautiful.

PS I was going to add that I would have bet you could fit all three on the palm of your hand - and you beat me to it!

Thanks for the positive comments everyone , i really enjoyed these , the micro additions took some careful handling , i lost count of the number of times I dropped the tiny canopy for the typ 5 on the floor and had to get on my hands and knees with the torch ! The next one will be straight out of the box though .

That’s a great little set! My eyes would not allow any decent work at 1/144! Bravo sah!
