    Revell (Hasegawa) 1/48 Phantom FGR2

    Well, here is my take on the Revell, ex Hasegawa, 1/48 Phantom FGR2. Built out of the box and finished in 56 Sqn colours for a machine based at Wattisham in 1992.

    I did this scheme as Wattisham is fairly local to me and I've been on site working on and off over the years. Main colours were airbrushed with AK Real Colour which went on nicely. As usual I've taken months on this - it was started towards the beginning of the year. Anyway, here are the pics:

      I can see why it took so long Nick. The finish is top notch Sir!!! I bet most of time was spent adding all the decals. Gotta be hundreds of them from what I see.........

              Yes Allen - the decals took a lot of sessions over the course of a couple of weeks or so. I thought they would never end!
