Beautiful result Colin, seemed to go together rather quickly, and the end result is superb. I like that maroon colour, very art deco

Art deco, well it's a 1930's aircraft, so fits in well there. Amusingly, the interior is a bit like a 'Gentleman's club' wood panels and wall lights.

Brilliant job Colin , looks like a corrugated iron s**thouse with wings - I just love these type of aircraft , they just seem so at odds with the whole precision aviation standards we’re used to being told ! They look like your uncle Frank built it down at the allotment one sunday afternoon - yet they flew and flew well , hence them being used for such demanding stuff as polar expeditions . Genius idea adding the splash of colour btw , really suits the style , cheers tony

Cheers Tony. And you are absolutely right, they did turn into a real work horse for the aviation industry, not to mention, a film star.
