Geoffs Airfix 1/72 Gloster Meteor III

    Hello chaps,

All finished and I’m pleased with how it turned out. A much better than my first attempt at this all those years ago.

Built in flight, probably like my original build so I could zoom it around the living room ( then I mean not now, honest 😚).

    Hope you like it πŸ‘

    Excellent result, Geoff.

The blurred background really sets the aircraft off.

So often I see hardly any effort made, or even none, to display a finished model to it's full effect. Even a simple card of sorts would do. Such a shame when folks put so much work into a build.....

    But this....

    Spot on. Nice one!

As above love the background and base, makes it look very dynamic!
Nice one, bet you are happy with that.

A stunning result Geoff. Superb Meteor, and that base has certainly created the illusion of speed. I bet you did zoom around with it before mounting on the acrylic rod.

Excellent job geoff , it looks brilliant . One of my very first models that I posted on here many many moons ago was the old AMT 1/48 meteor mk1 and V1 flying bomb , I connected them and mounted them on a base just like this ! Yours looks superb , really gives the impression of low level speed , great work , cheers tony
