Joe's Airfix 1/72 Avro Lancaster - Paul T's Vintage Airfix

For background on the kit and build, see the build thread:
Third attempt at putting this up, I keep losing everything and getting signed out. I'm going to break it down into a few parts as I can't bring myself to lose all this again. My Airfix Vintage GB build is the Airfix 1/72 Avro Lancaster. This kit just creeps in to the Vintage Airfix GB year of 1981, being a 1979/80 release. It

Finally completed the Airfix Lancaster from 1980. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Nice, thats come up a treat, looks really good. Very menacing with the large dark areas underneath, almost a stealth look....
I have one in my stash that will be built at some point.

Cheers Richard. It was a real saga in the end, but mostly due to my errors and the ancient decals. The kit itself stands up well today.

Spot on Joe, a really great finish. That does not look like a 45 year old kit, splendid.
