    Tonys Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi zero - completed pics

    Heres the old Tamiya A6M2 Zero in 1/48 . A tooling dating from 1973 but still a good build . Finished in the markings of a Zero from the IJN carrier Akagi at Pearl Harbour 1941 .Flown by Lt. Cdr Shigeru Itaya .

        That's turned out very well indeed Tony. Sorry I couldn't follow the build

        I think I have this kit coming for Father's Day. I hope mine turns out half as well.

            Great job Tony. Looks every inch the worn but cared for veteran aircraft due to your exceptional weathering job.

                          thanks guys for the great comments .There was a couple of figures included in the kit , a seated pilot and one standing , im just attempting to paint the standing one so i’ll put up a few more pics if hes presentable , cheers Tony

                            Another one Tony??? I don't know why I always seem to miss these. I thought you were building some 'Freekin' kit from Smer in tiny scale. Being 1/48, you have really excelled with the overall finish, weathering and fine details on the Zero!!! Had a quick ketchup and the only thing I can see, is you need to have a talk with Suzuki about cleaning his shoes off before he gets into the cockpit. Other than that, Aces high and a super build Sir!!!
