I think you are right. Although the 'bubble' canopy looks very pronounced.

Any idea where it was taken?
There are a few other nationalities with twin tail fighters, but the area the photo was taken would narrow down any ''foreign'' answers?

Not 100% sure, had the pic as a WhatsApp message from my sister. She was travelling from Scotland to the Lake District today, so definitely UK somewhere.

Deffo looks like an F-15,
And seeing it was taken around the lake district I'd guess it was in the 'mach loop',
